FUTURE PREDICTIONS

Abstract:

Many people speculate as to, whether it is really possible to predict the future? Some prophets in the past have staked claim in predicting the future. Presently, many people are of the view that it is possible to forecast the future. While some people are interested in the future forecast of the nation in totality, some want to have a peek at the future with regards economic stability and personal life. In ancient times, the Delphi temple in Greece used to house the most prominent Oracle. They were called as Pythia. These Oracles used to charge exorbitant fees for the forecasting of future. Only wealthy and the rich at that time could afford their fees. Most Christians know of the future predictions being made in both the Bibles New and the Old testaments. In China, emperors used to give orders based on the forecast of their royal predictors. Even today, people can see political figures such as Hillary Clinton, Ronald Regan and even the British Queen, seek the help of astrologers for their future course of action. Not only have these, people from the entertainment industry also sought the help of future predictors.

Scientists believe that each and every person has the capability of forecasting the future provided that they use their psychic powers. In most of the people, these “psychic powers” are found to lie dormant.  These psychic powers are known as “Extra Sensory Perceptions”. These perceptions are further divided into two more subtypes, namely clairvoyance which means to envision events in the absence of the five senses and, psycho kinesis in which is popularly known as “mind over matter”. The third type is known as precognition which means predicting the future.
